The lovely Mia volunteered at her local Las Vegas Re-Store on Saturday, September 8. Here's what she had to say about it.
On Saturday, September 8th, Mia Gwyn volunteered at the Re-Store shop for Habitat for Humanity in Las Vegas. The store has anything home related, including decor, furniture, appliances, and more. The proceeds go directly to the cost of building homes. The employees who work there are great people who really believe in what they do. Rick explained how they had just received a $250,000 donation from a home decor convention and they were so overstocked they didn't have enough space to store it nor enough employees to price it all.
So all of her work revolved around pricing items by hand with a sharpie. She must have priced over 400 paint rollers, 30 buckets, 100 boxes of nails…all in the first hour! She looks forward to going back there soon.
