Instructor Highlight - Kevin Nickle

Kevin NickleKevin Nickle joined New Horizons in 2011, providing high-level applications training to students at New Horizons of Southern California. Kevin is now a certified expert in Microsoft Office Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

With over 5 years of training experience, Kevin enjoys working on real world issues. He takes pride in being able to explain complex technical issues in laymen terms for his students to understand. He also believes that training is not always the same, and that each student must be catered to in a different form. Depending on their learning style, Kevin believes in adjusting methods, and focus

Kevin combines theoretical concepts with real-life examples to provide students with a holistic understand of concepts that can be carried into the workplace. He says he "likes to approach the training with a “matter of fact” type of delivery." He likes to take the more abstract concepts and spell them out in  laymen's terminology. In the process, he likes to sprinkle in some humor.

Kevin is thrilled to be teaching at New Horizons Learning Group and enjoys instructing through all New Horizons modalities, including Instructor-Led Training (ILT) and Online LIVE (OLL).

Kevin is a strong instructor with many skills and specialties, such as:
