Windows 10 is here to stay. According to statistics released by analytics firm NetMarketShare Windows 10 saw consistent increases in adoption over the past three months. December - 9.96% increase January - 11.85% increase February - 12.82% increase With this trend looking to continue at a steady 1% increase each month, Windows 10 is poised to equal Windows 7's market share well within this decade. What is notable for businesses in particular is at what expense the conversion to Windows 10 is coming from. Although Windows 7 saw a loss of three percentage points, Windows XP fell from 19% to 11.2% over the past year.
SharePoint has evolved from a simple, and sometimes awkward, document management system, initially released in 2001, into a robust, full-featured document management system. Every level of business from small to large can benefit from the dynamic feature set that SharePoint 2019 now boasts to both End-Users and Developers.
Before you upgraded to Windows 10, you cleaned out unused programs, cleared the IE cache, did a disk cleanup, a defrag and a backup, right? What about after upgrading? Pretty much the same list again! (Excepting that SSD’s don’t need user-commanded defrags – the OS handles that regularly in an intelligent way if the drive reports as SSD, and being SSD’s, you don’t want to wear them out unnecessarily.)
