Reknowned "The Economist" recently highlighted the critical nature of continuous learning and job training when pursuing a sustainable career.

The author discusses the rapidly changing nature of both technology and the skills required to manage and utilize said technology.

In many occupations it has become essential to acquire new skills as established ones become obsolete.

As a result, employers demand increasingly complex combinations of skills to accomplish business goals that require working across disciplines.

The biggest demand is for new combinations of skills... (for example) 49% of postings in the quartile of occupations with the highest pay are for jobs that frequently ask for coding skills.

It's not just the business community who recognizes the growing demand for more highly trained workers with diverse skillsets; the American labor force appears keenly aware that they will need to develop new skills to keep up with the pace of innovation.

According to the Pew survey, 54% of all working Americans think it will be essential to develop new skills throughout their working lives; among adults under 30 the number goes up to 61%.
