Apple and Cisco Team Up to Bolster iPad Success

APPLE HAS ANNOUNCED THAT IT WILL BE PARTNERING WITH CISCO TO BOLSTER SALES TO CORPORATE CUSTOMERS.

Apple has announced that it will be partnering with Cisco to bolster sales to corporate customers. This is an interesting move on Apple's part; however, it isn't really surprising. Apple has been trying to conquer the business world for years. And despite the fact that its user-friendly nature has allowed it to be a smashing success with the average customer, Apple hasn't made much of an impact in the corporate world. iPad sales have been lacking across the board and Apple is attempting to bolster this weakening revenue stream by selling its tablets directly to companies for corporate use.

Basically, how this partnership will help has a lot to do with Cisco's dealings with those in the business sphere. Cisco will help to ensure that corporate Internet connections depending on its equipment will effectively and efficiently deliver data to iPhones and iPads

Not the first time
This isn't the first time that Apple has reached out to a fellow tech giant to bridge the gap into the business world. Apple partnered with IBM in 2014 in order to market iPhones and iPads filled with apps necessary for a corporate environment

And although it's a little too early to tell what this new partnership will do for either company, it certainly isn't a stretch to say that this is a great time to be a Cisco certified network professional. Basic computer training is always a good thing to have under your belt, however following a Cisco certification path like the ones offered by New Horizons Computer Learning Centers of Southern California and Southern Arizona would be a great way to welcome Apple's attempt to sell to more corporate customers. Even if the Cisco partnership doesn't go as planned, going through a Cisco certification is always a great way to pad your resume.
